1 year since MCC (medical conditions checklist) submitted

Well, we just made the 12 month mark since signing up with the Waiting Child program with our agency. It looks like we are still going to have to wait a few months longer (sigh) despite being told there was a 10-12 month wait when we signed up. One thing is for sure, adoption is not for the faint of heart! It is almost 3 years since we applied to our agency and here we are still waiting for our daughter while thousands of children languish in orphanages waiting for a family. Crazy.
