Yes, we finally received our travel approval (TA) to go to China to pick up precious Ruby.
At this point, we plan to fly to Beijing on June 30th. We will stay there for a few days to acclimate and tour around before flying to Zhengzhou (the capital city of Henan province). This is where Ruby will be brought to us!!!!!!!YAY!!!
We will stay in Zhengzhou for a week or so before flying to Guangzhou in the south. This is where we will get Ruby's visa at the U.S. consulate. We plan to take the bullet train in to Hong Kong for a couple of days before flying back to the States on/around July 17th. Phew! The trip of a lifetime, can hardly wait!

So happy for you and for Ruby!!
Oh, Sarah - I have goosebumps! To imagine you are going to walk the roads of the place where Ruby was born! I LOST it flying into Zhengzhou. I looked at the mountains and the place that "gave" me my daughter, a place she will likely never return? Maybe she will -
You are about to embark upon something you will never forget - & bringing home the most beautiful little girl!!
Please do try to blog :)
Xo,
Sara
