Hello family and friends! We started this web-site to enable our loved ones to learn more about our adoption journey. We are very excited and wanted to share our happiness. We have been thinking and talking about adopting on and off for years, but never dreamed we would actually do it. Many things came together this past year and we felt very strongly it was what we needed to do. We felt led to China as we would all love a little girl to complete our family. Due to the One-Child policy and cultural preference for boys, China has hundreds of thousands of baby girls languishing in orphanages who need a loving home. To us it is the perfect fit!

We will mostly be using this site to journal our trip to China so family and friends can follow our journey from afar. Till then, not much to report!
