It's really difficult for me to keep up an interesting blog when my time is already stretched with a big family, house to keep up, friends to visit and everything else. I really don't know how some people do it!
My parents left to go back home to England after a wonderful visit and we have been getting in the swing of the new year.
School, indoor soccer, skiing, church and friends all keep us busy.
Ruby has been home with us for 6 months now and we are still in awe of how amazing this journey has been so far. She has settled and blended in to our family in a way that was beyond our hopes and dreams. She is easy, flexible, eats everything, still sleeps beautifully and is loving and affectionate. The boys adore her, as she does them. It really has been an amazing blessing for our family. Her vocabulary is expanding daily as is her feistiness! She now says "no!" quite often to her brothers...they think it's really cute, which is a good thing. They are far more tolerant of her than they are of each other!

She is sooooo beautiful!! Love the pic with your parents too!
Ummm - can I be the first to say - you don't have to be INTERESTING - just keep the pictures coming :-)
Heh.
I am hoping to come out in a few weeks! I'd love to meet you at Panera & maybe meet April too. I won't be bringing any kids!
But OF COURSE, I want to see Ruby!
I love the pictures! Ruby is the perfect fit for your family! We are so blessed by how easily our girls have transitioned into our families!
I hear ya about the blogging because I am also having a difficult time keeping up. A couple days ago was our "6 months" milestone and I keep meaning to post on our blog but have yet to do it~maybe this week.
Yeah!!! Happy 6mos Anniversary! It's been wonderful watching from afar as Ruby as so beautifully transitioned into your family. And my goodness, she just gets cuter, and cuter and cuter and cuter and...... !!! :) That haircut on her is just adorable. Looks like her hair is really starting to come in thicker.
Thanks for email and the FB friend request. I will absolutely 'accept' next time I am on there. I spend more time in the blog world than I do on FB these days. But every now and then I get an itch to go over there and hang out a bit, too! ;)
And I'm with Sara...you don't have to be interesting (LOL!!)...but keep those cute pictures coming!!
Hugs!!

Sarah, Ruby just looks fabulous! We are coming up on 6 months too -- Feb. 24 will be the big day -- and it is hard to imagine life without Susannah! Congratulations on the re-adoption and on holding it all together so beautifully. You have a busy life with family, friends, travels, visitors -- it is so nice to just see the pictures! I can't believe how well our two little ToF girls are! Zuzu's heart is fine -- she did break her collarbone in a fall three weeks ago but I guess that just proves how "normal" she really is!
