In the midst of all the Christmas festivities, we had our appointment with the Colorado court to finalize Ruby's adoption in the eyes of the United States. It was a short but very meaningful ceremony. The presiding judge was so gracious and amazing with all our children. She invited each of them to strike the gavel at the completion of the hearing. They loved that, of course!
We went to a nearby restaurant for dessert and drinks after to celebrate.

Isn't that the same judge that did Mya's Re-Adoption?? She looks familiar, so I'm thinking I seen photos of her before on Sara's sight!?

Yeah! Congratulations! it seems short, but SO worthwhile! We had the same judge - only she had long hair & different glasses 6 months ago! I love that your parents were able to be there for it..
